Manufacturer’s description – “A creamy vanilla bean ice-cream (VBIC) flavour that works in many recipes to lift creaminess and give body to desserts, cakes, custards and many other styles of flavours. We consider this the all-rounder of flavours as it can also be used as a stand-alone mix to give you that sweet vanilla ice cream taste to your ejuice recipe.”
SnV
Light dark vanilla bean followed by a creamy medium thick ice cream
7 day steep
The vanilla has increased in strength and has a slight caramel like sweetness to it with the cream in the background, no change to the cream taste
14 day steep
No change
21 day steep
This is now a slightly dark vanilla ice cream, the vanilla is prominent and has a very slight caramel like taste to it this is then followed by a slightly buttery ice cream like flavour
26 day steep
No change
Suggested usage
I’d use as a main 2%-3%, Background 1%-2%, Accent 0.25%-1%. Standalone 3%-5%
I’d use with Creams, Fruits, Yoghurts, Cheesecakes, Custards, Coffee, Some Alcohols, Biscuits, some Florals, other Ice Creams and Nuts.
Summary
As an accent/background this would add a touch of dark vanilla and a smooth rich cream, pair this with Custards to add depth, Vanilla and richness to them. As a main flavour this would be a rich Vanilla Ice Cream good enough to be the only Ice Cream in the mix however it will also layer well with other Ice Creams. To me this is similar to FA Ice Cream but has a darker vanilla taste.
VTA recommended usage -5-10%
